About The Position

JYL Transportation, Inc. is hiring Drivers to transport special needs children and adults to and from day programs, medical appointments, and around their communities. As a Driver, you will be a vital member of the JYL Transportation team, providing an extremely rewarding and fulfilling job.

Requirements

• Must be 19 years of age or older.
• Have 3 or more years of consecutive driving experience.
• Possess an active Driver's License with a safe driving record.
• Must enjoy working with children and elderly, and always possess the ability to show patience and empathy.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a motor vehicle, in accordance with all State and Federal traffic laws.
• Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including sedans, mini-vans, full size passenger vans, and wheelchair vans.
• Safely assist passengers as needed, including helping them enter and exit the vehicle, using the vehicle's lap and shoulder belts, and safely securing them in car seats and booster seats.
• Communicate effectively and clearly with special needs children/adults, parents, program staff, and the elderly.
