About The Position

As a Van Delivery Driver at Staples, you will be responsible for safely transporting and delivering office supplies to customers on your assigned route. This role emphasizes safety and efficiency, requiring you to load your van, organize deliveries, and provide excellent customer service. You will play a crucial role in the Staples Supply Chain, ensuring that products reach customers in a timely manner while fostering a positive company culture.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year in a service-oriented position.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record acceptable to the company.
• Basic English language skills (both verbal and written communications).
• Ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift as needed.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 70 pounds, occasionally up to 100 pounds.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
• High volume / small package delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Transport products safely and deliver office supplies on assigned route to customers.
• Load the van with products for delivery based on the manifest.
• Ensure safe work practices and embrace the company's safety culture.
• Organize and load products for delivery to assure the most efficient route and schedule.
• Provide customer support and accept product returns.
• Make sound decisions related to driving, parking, and customer interactions.
