Business Unit/Department: Instrumentation and Valves Services Location: Lawrence, PA Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assemble valve actuation packages Repair and assemble safety relief valves Disassemble, evaluate, rebuild and test Isolation and Control valves Troubleshoot electrical instrumentation components Maintain a valid driver’s license Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and perform work outdoors Requirements The Ideal Candidate: MUST have a minimum of a 2 year vocational or technical college degree OR a minimum of 5 years of experience working in an industrial/manufacturing environment (automotive service experience preferred). Military experience in this or a related field will also be considered. Proficient with mechanical tools and equipment. Basic understanding of the operating principles, installation and maintenance of AC and DC electrical circuits. Basic understanding of the operating principles, installation and maintenance of pneumatic circuits. Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds. Ability to work any overtime that is required to complete a particular assignment (occasional weekend work) Ability to travel out of town and work in the field when required.
