About The Position

As a Valve Technician I at Transco Railcar Repair, you will be responsible for fitting mechanical parts and subassemblies into various types of machinery and products. Requirements

• Ability to pass a drug screen and physical examination.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and assemble fittings on tank cars.
• Test, rebuild, and test valves to identify possible defects.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area and report potential hazards.
• Lift up to 50 pounds as needed and perform tasks that require climbing and balancing on ladders and platforms.
