Fits mechanical parts and subassemblies into different types of machinery and products. Conducts measures of products and adjusts them. Responsible for upkeep of workstation. Works according to established trade and shop practices. Typically has 0-2 years of experience and works under close supervision. We are looking for a Valve Technician to provide construction, repair, and support of our products. This position requires someone willing to learn a new trade through on-the-job training.

Requirements

• 0-2 years of experience in a related field.
• Ability to pass drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Disassembles and assembles fittings on tank cars.
• Tests, rebuilds, and tests valves to reveal possible defects.
• Maintains work area in a neat and orderly manner and reports potential hazards.
• Lifts up to 50 pounds as needed and performs tasks that require climbing and balancing on ladders and platforms.
