About The Position

A specialized pneumatic and hydraulic valve design company is seeking a highly skilled Valve Design Engineer. This role requires a candidate who can transform basic ideas into complex applications and is adept at customizing valve designs according to project needs.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience.
At least 3 years of valve design experience.
Proficiency in SolidWorks and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Experience in product design engineering focused on pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Ability to conduct engineering calculations, stress calculations, and tolerance calculations.
Experience with new product development and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Design and develop pneumatic and hydraulic valves.
Customize valve designs based on specific project requirements.
Reverse engineer existing valve designs for the oil and gas industry.
