About The Position

As a Value Stream Lead Manager, you will oversee end-to-end operations for a defined product value stream within Motorola Solutions’ electronic manufacturing environment. Your role ensures safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are consistently met while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 6+ years of leadership experience in electronics manufacturing.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.

Nice To Haves

• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, value stream mapping, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership Direct and coordinate manufacturing operations and schedules aligned with customer demand and value stream capacity.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
• Monitor production performance and implement immediate countermeasures for deviations.
• Team Management Lead, coach, and develop cross-functional teams (production, engineering, supply chain, quality).
• Manage workforce allocation across shifts to maximize utilization of personnel and equipment.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Continuous Improvement Drive lean initiatives, Kaizen events, and root cause corrective actions to achieve a zero-defect culture.
• Participate in technology roadmaps and support implementation of new equipment and processes.
• Optimize throughput, reduce waste, and improve efficiency across the value stream.
• Customer & Stakeholder Engagement Translate customer requirements into operational strategies and processes.
• Collaborate with engineering, program management, and supply chain to meet delivery commitments.
• Provide clear reporting on performance metrics, risks, and improvement plans
