About The Position

As a Value Stream Manager, you will guide our manufacturing team in achieving Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Cost Out goals. You will plan and monitor key metrics to ensure quality, cost, delivery and safety requirements are met. In this role, you will: Ensure a safe work environment through accident prevention, near-miss reporting, equipment maintenance, and safety compliance. Meet product quality standards using plant quality tools; enforce accountability with frontline managers and associates. Minimize scrap and rework across all work centers. Select, develop, and motivate personnel to achieve goals for productivity, quality, cost, and engagement. Optimize staffing for efficient use of direct and indirect labor. Set product line priorities and drive improvements in safety, 5S, lean initiatives, and communication systems. Maintain inventory levels in collaboration with Production Control. Support Operations Manager in setting goals, tracking performance metrics, and driving process improvements. Foster accountability, innovation, and continuous learning through feedback and empowerment. Assist with capital project planning and execution. Ensure smooth shift handoffs and alignment of staffing levels. Analyze operating reports and implement cost-control measures. Identify training needs and coordinate programs with HR; participate as needed. Maintain and support SAP systems and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Five (5) years of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, or logistics environment
  • Two (2) years of management/supervisory experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
  • Five (5) years of supervisory experience
  • Experience working in an Engineered to Order environment
  • Experience with machining, assembly, fabrication operations
  • Experience with Lean and Continuous Improvement
  • ISO 9001 familiarity
  • SAP experience
