Requirements

  • Must have a HS Diploma or equivalent, university degree preferred.
  • Experience in managing production activities in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to interpret and administer policies, processes, and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct production activities of manufacturing organizations to optimize resource use, minimize costs and maintain quality standards.
  • Plan, manage and review production operations to achieve output and quality objectives.
  • Monitor expenditures and forecast resource inputs.
  • Operate, monitor and maintain production equipment.
  • Overall responsibility for a single manufacturing facility or leadership inclusive of multiple manufacturing facilities.
  • Coordinate all activities related to production, such as maintenance, quality control, and engineering.
  • Lead, direct, and control the day-to-day activities of designated value streams.
  • Measure the results of the manufacture of products in planned quantities, at budgeted cost, and of desired quality.
  • Lead departmental goal development and continuous improvement.
  • Execute human resource strategies including recruitment, selection, training, and performance reviews.
  • Maximize production by developing production schedules and organizing change-overs.
  • Keep materials available by scheduling and monitoring deliveries.
  • Deliver customer-acceptable products by enforcing quality standards.
  • Improve quality production results by studying and redesigning processes.
  • Facilitate transformational projects with cross functional team members.
  • Prepare plant information and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
