About The Position

Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Value Stream Manager I-III based at our Berea, KY location. What you will do: Oversee all aspects of production, including manufacturing, packaging, maintenance, and engineering, to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant operations. Partner with cross-functional teams to meet production schedules and deliver products that meet quality standards and customer requirements. Monitor and manage cost center budgets, identifying opportunities for efficiency, savings, and strategic investments in technology and process improvements. Develop and execute short- and long-term workforce and capital plans to support operational growth and sustainability. Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, reduce waste, and promote a culture of excellence. Level II & III (in addition to the above): Set operational priorities to meet both short- and long-term business goals. Prepare, monitor, and manage departmental expense budgets to achieve financial and operational targets. Drive strategic initiatives that position the operation as a world-class, cost-effective production environment. Requirements

  • Level I: Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of progressive experience leading teams and projects of significant size and scope.
  • Level II: Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).
  • 7+ years of operations and management experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Level III: Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).
  • 8+ years of operations and management experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Operations Leadership: Strong foundation in production management, budgeting, workforce planning, and operational safety
  • Continuous Improvement: Experience implementing or leading Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement initiatives.
  • Team Development: Proven ability to mentor, coach, and build high-performing teams.
  • Business Strategy: Skilled at aligning operations with organizational goals to achieve long-term growth and efficiency.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in data analysis, production systems, and standard business software.
