About The Position

The Electronics Product Line Value Stream Leader is responsible for all aspects of operational performance and overall health for Electronic Control design and manufacture of the Engine Control Systems Product Line Value Streams. The Engine Control Systems Electronics Product Value Stream complements the current Collins Management System (CMS) Customer Value Stream structure to drive customer satisfaction and improve overall business results by aligning strategy, engineering, operations and support functions throughout the full life cycle of our products. Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run May/June- December (including the Fall semester; it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity).

Requirements

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Nice To Haves

  • Displays experience or knowledge in SAP MRP systems.
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience: advanced Excel skills preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support Phoenix and Puerto Rico Electronic Operations to address customer delivery assurance/operations inquiries
  • Compile and analyze key process indicators that focus on organization objectives in the areas of sales, overdue, and inventory.
  • Participate in the development of standardized processes within operations in order to optimize the utilization of resources and meet customer expectations for delivery
  • Interface with Electronic Operations and Customer Value Streams to develop delivery commitments and track/communicate status daily
  • Interface with Supply Chain on material shortage identification, impact assessment and mitigation plans
