In Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Systems, you'll help develop systems that sense, control, exploit and disseminate actionable information to warfighters supporting a variety of missions. This position is 2nd shift 3pm to 12 Midnight + a 10% shift differential Basic functions of the job: Implement project plans and schedules. Responsible for all cost, schedule, and quality issues related to the complete value stream, inclusive of material, ensuring delivered products meet specified standards. Implement process improvements through the development and execution of a comprehensive improvement plan. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

  • Establish the visual factory and direct, plan, and organize workloads by estimating, scheduling, distributing, and controlling work assignments to provide for a smooth flow of both priority and routine tasks to achieve economical and efficient utilization of personnel and facilities.
  • Maintain product flow and demand pull.
  • Implement flow systems to coincide with TAKT time where applicable.
  • Set schedule/work priority within the team and drive the team to meet the schedule.
  • Ensure key business metrics are achieved within the factory and drive corrective action when product costs are above targets.
  • Identify and resolve performance problems within the value stream.
  • Promote a strong sense of teamwork among personnel throughout and across the value stream.
  • Serve as the focal point to communicate and resolve issues within their value stream and between other factories.
  • Coordinate with internal customers as necessary to ensure commitments are achieved.
  • Facilitate problem solving and collaboration.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations stated by internal company policy and Federal, State, and Local applicable standards.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
  • High School Diploma OR GED
  • Minimum 4 years manufacturing experience
  • People leadership experience
  • Must be able to obtain Secret Clearance.
  • Manufacturing Engineering experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Paperless manufacturing system is preferred.
