Position Summary: We are seeing a detail-oriented Value Management Office (VMO) Analyst to support the ongoing enhancement, governance, and operational excellence of our value management systems, tools, and processes. The ideal candidate will help maintain and optimize project management platforms, author and update templates and documentation, and support governance of best practices across the enterprise. Experience with project/portfolio management tools such as Smartsheet and Jira is essential, along with experience in Agile project management. Life Insurance and/or Third-Party Administration (TPA) experience is preferred.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in a project management role, value management, or project/portfolio support role
  • Experience supporting governance in regulated industries (e.g., financial services, insurance)
  • Prior experience developing and maintaining templates, documentation, and workflows for project management
  • Proficiency in Smartsheet and Jira (or similar project/PPM tools)
  • Strong understanding of Agile project
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; able to translate data into actionable insights
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to produce clear documentation and facilitate governance discussions
  • Detail-oriented with high accuracy in maintaining systems, templates, and reports
  • Experience creating dashboards, reports, and KPIs for project portfolio management
  • Ability to train and guide teams on tools, templates, and best practices

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Life Insurance and/or Third-Party Administration (TPA) industry preferred

Responsibilities

  • Systems & Tool Maintenance Administer, maintain, and enhance key project management systems (e.g., Smartsheet, Jira, etc.) to ensure accurate configuration, data integrity, and alignment.
  • Create and manage dashboards, reports, workflows, templates, and processes that support value tracking and project delivery metrics.
  • Template & Documentation Development Maintain, update, and standardize templates for project plans, status reporting, resource tracking, risk logs, and governance artifacts.
  • Document process workflows, governance guidelines, standards, and best practices for use across the VMO and project teams.
  • Governance & Best Practices Partner with project delivery teams and stakeholders to ensure consistent application of methodologies and templates.
  • Promote project management and Agile best practices.
  • Conduct periodic audits of tool usage, process compliance, and artifact quality; recommend improvements where needed.
  • Stakeholder Engagement Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (e.g., project managers, product owners, finance, operations) to understand needs, collect requirements, and support governance initiatives.
  • Provide training and guidance on tools, templates, and best practices for project teams and business partners.
