Follow us on LinkedIn THE OPPORTUNITY CONTEXT: Ivalua is hiring a North America Value Engineering (VE) Lead to own and scale ROI/value assessments for enterprise and public-sector Source-to-Pay opportunities across the U.S. and Canada. The VE Lead will engage with prospect and customer executive stakeholders (CPO, CFO, CIO) and Ivalua go-to-market teams to build business cases and value justifications for Ivalua solutions and guide customers to maximize the value they realize with Ivalua. ROLE: The Value Engineering Lead, North America will define, deliver, and scale the value assessment for enterprise and public sector prospects across the U.S. and Canada. You’ll work directly with senior executive stakeholders to model ROI, build transformation roadmaps, and guide executive decisions throughout the buying and adoption journey. This role blends consulting, storytelling, and analytical rigor—ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of business impact, technology, and enterprise transformation

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred with a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience, OR Master’s degree in relevant field with a minimum of 3 years relevant professional experience, OR Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years in management consulting, value engineering, or finance roles at enterprise software / technology vendors or consulting firms.
  • Proven experience developing business cases and presenting to senior executives (CFO/CPO/CIO).
  • Track record of leading or contributing to digital procurement, supply chain, or finance / operations transformation programs.
  • Deep familiarity with SaaS business models and processes, ROI modeling, and value realization.
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to model and translate data into compelling executive narratives.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling—comfortable leading workshops and presenting to C-suite audiences.
  • Self-starter mindset, ability to work in autonomy in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead value discovery and ROI engagements with executive sponsors (CFO, CPO, CIO) at key prospects and customers.
  • Build business cases quantifying the benefits and impact of our solutions.
  • Deliver executive presentations demonstrating clear economic justification and transformation outcomes.
  • Partner with Sales, Solution Consulting, Customer Success, Systems Integrators, and other go-to-market teams to shape deals and post-go-live value realization.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor in large strategic pursuits, influencing deal structure and commercial approach.
  • Represent North America in the global value engineering team, contributing to methodologies and playbooks.
  • Develop frameworks for opportunity assessment, ROI modeling, and value tracking.
  • Coach regional account teams on how to integrate value conversations into every stage of the customer lifecycle.
  • Contribute value insights to Ivalua’s procurement thought leadership.
  • Improve the foundation for the North America Value Engineering function—better processes, new tools including Agentic AI, and more insightful metrics.
  • Mentor sales, solution consultants, customer success, and services advisory team members to drive value engineering adoption and customer centricity.
  • Collaborate with global peers to maintain a unified approach to value storytelling and measurement.
