Value Creation Associate

Mosaic Service PartnersWashington, DC
8d$120,000 - $140,000Hybrid

About The Position

Mosaic Service Partners is seeking a high-potential Value Creation Associate to support post-acquisition integration, operational transformation, and systems-enabled execution across its growing portfolio of residential services businesses. This is an execution-oriented role for someone with a strong consulting toolkit and interest in hands-on operating environments, where adoption, sequencing, and field impact truly matter. Reporting to the Director of Integration, this individual will operate as an internal execution athlete, owning integration mechanics across multiple concurrent initiatives and partnering closely with Mosaic functional leaders, operating company founders, and field teams. Success in this role requires comfort with ambiguity, strong execution discipline, and the ability to manage complexity across workstreams without formal authority. This is not a strategy-only or slide-building role. The Value Creation Associate plays a hands-on role in ensuring integration and transformation work actually lands in the field, with real consequences if timelines slip or risks are missed. This role offers the opportunity to build deep exposure to post-acquisition integration, enterprise systems, and value creation in a PE-backed, multi-brand platform, with meaningful ownership and a clear growth path as Mosaic scales.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or equivalent operating experience preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in consulting, portfolio operations, enterprise transformation, systems implementation, or a similar execution-oriented role.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives with real delivery risk if execution slips.
  • Strong execution discipline with comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
  • Experience working with field-based, distributed, or multi-site operations strongly preferred.
  • High level of integrity, ownership, and follow-through.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders without formal authority through clarity, reliability, and execution.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments without heavy structure or templates.
  • Hybrid role with up to 25%+ travel based in Washington, DC, with in-office presence 3-5 days per week.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to private equity-backed environments, post-merger integration, or high-growth operating models.
  • Experience in services-based, field-intensive, or customer-facing industries such as home services, healthcare services, or multi-site retail.
  • Prior experience supporting systems rollouts, operating model changes, or cross-functional transformations.

Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and operate standardized Day 1 through Day 90 integration plans across multiple concurrent acquisitions, ensuring milestones are met on time with minimal disruption to field operations, revenue, and EBITDA.
  • Manage integration cadences, workstream coordination, and dependency tracking across cross-functional teams, proactively identifying bottlenecks and critical-path risks.
  • Surface execution risks, delays, and resource constraints early, escalating issues with clear context, severity, and recommended actions to keep integrations on track.
  • Support operational diligence activities including workshops, site visits, and structured assessments, identifying operational risks, key-person dependencies, and integration complexity drivers.
  • Synthesize diligence findings into clear inputs that inform Day 1 priorities, first-90-day integration plans, and early value creation initiatives.
  • Assess current-state operations, identify gaps versus Mosaic standards, and define future-state workflows that guide platform transition, systems adoption, and transformation sequencing.
  • Support people-first adoption of Mosaic processes, systems, and standards by partnering closely with founders and field leaders and spending meaningful time on-site, especially early post-close.
  • Build and maintain high-fidelity integration and value creation dashboards that provide leadership real-time visibility into milestones, dependencies, critical-path risks, and execution issues.
  • Support ongoing improvement of integration playbooks, tools, and execution approaches, and take on other responsibilities as required to support Mosaic’s integration and value creation efforts.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary with performance-based bonus
  • Travel reimbursement for approved business travel
  • Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability coverage
  • Opportunities for career growth and advancement as Mosaic continues to scale
