About The Position

Reporting to Category Manager of Supply Chain Management, the Value Analysis Coordinator is responsible for identifying opportunities for strategic programs with existing or new trading partners in collaboration with internal departments, negotiating healthcare purchasing and service contracts, perform analytics, and looking for cost-saving opportunities that creates value that creates value for WMCHealth Network.. This individual will manage and coordinate data, opportunities, and initiatives as well as develop relationships with stakeholders, nurses, physicians, and other stakeholders. Additionally, this individual will lead the process for specific supply/service categories.

Requirements

2-4 years of satisfactory full-time professional experience in value analysis, contract management, business analytics, or procurement of goods, services or construction, required.
(Associate Degree Required or minimum of five years experience)

Nice To Haves

Bachelors Degree preferred.
AHRMM CMRP within two years.

Responsibilities

Adhere to and support the overall Mission and Vision of WMCHealth Network.
Manages agreements, standardization of products and services, rationalization of duplicative products and services.
Engage and build bridges with suppliers.
Develop relationships with stakeholders, nurses, and physicians at each of the facilities.
Manage and coordinate data, opportunities, and initiatives.
Work with internal departments to identify and evaluate sourcing needs as well as identifying qualified vendors to satisfy those needs in a manner that creates value for WMCHealth Network.
Work to achieve savings or other goals in line with the Supply Chain section's corporate plan and overall goals.
Evaluates, selects, monitors, and implements cost effective products, services and processes.
Serve as liaisons between Hospital and suppliers to procure favorable contracts. Evaluate and analyze potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and prepare monthly supply cost reports
Researches products and prices; identify qualified suppliers; obtains technical and/or performance specifications; performs financial and value analysis.
Evaluate initiatives, generate new ideas, explore strategies, and select barrier resolution tactics indicated in collaboration with Value Creation Committee chairs.
Handle product conversions with Value Creation Committees and other stakeholders.
Collaborate with clinicians, educators, and contract specialists to support implementation plan and staff education.
Conduct retrospective analysis 3-6 months post-implementation.
Report to WMC Compliance Office on all product requests involving a Conflict of Interest.
Support commitment to group purchasing organizations and strategic partner agreements.
Functions as subject matter expert on supply costs.
Negotiate contract terms in compliance with supply chain directives.
Identify barriers early and escalate when appropriate.
Ensure procurement rules are followed.
Track all initiatives throughout the process
Support committee leaders in developing agendas, meeting minutes, and providing documents.
Validate completion of supply chain analysis portion of committee packet.
Support commitment to group purchasing organizations and strategic partner agreements.
Obtain product samples for evaluations and quotes.
Provide cost, contract, and utilization reports.
