About The Position

Sixth Street has an immediate opening for a bright, hard-working individual to join our Valuations Team in Dallas. The Valuations Team is focused on supporting investing and accounting activities across our private equity, hybrid, and liquid credit funds. The role will be an integral part of a developing team in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial work environment. This individual will be involved in several facets of the operations, including valuation model review, working with 3 rd party pricing providers, process controls, and investment performance/analysis deliverables.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of Valuation experience within private equity or alternative assets.
• Strong accounting and excel skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong understanding and application of industry and market rules and practices
• Detail-oriented, responsible and proactive
• Deadline-oriented to meet time-sensitive regulatory and contractual requirements
• Adept at problem solving
• Candidate must be self-motivated and willing to work in a team environment
• Candidate must have attention to detail and be focused on multiple demands and deliverables

Responsibilities

• Participate in monthly/quarterly Valuation Committee process including working with deal professionals to prepare materials for presentation
• Reconcile valuations to book and records and work with fund level auditors to support final valuations and inputs to valuation
• Work with team to enhance valuation process including standardizing DCF approach, documenting valuation policies and procedures, upgrade existing reporting and data analytics for internal use by senior management and generally working toward tech-controlled solutions around all parts of valuation cycle
• Participate in a wide variety of special projects, both operating and financial, and compile a variety of special reports
