The AE Defense V&V Engineer is responsible for ensuring that Rolls-Royce has sufficient oversight for our products to meet business, customer and regulatory requirements. It covers engineers who are performing Project, Development, Systems Engineering and Verification style roles. The AE Defense V&V engineer will serve as the integrator on safety, reliability, manufacturing/supply chain producibility, and quality activities.   • Lead the technical program management and engineering efforts for AE 2100.
  • Coordinate the technical activities of a multi-functional team that delivers engineering solutions for design/configuration changes (Product Change Board process).
  • Lead workstreams and develop/communicate the plan and budget for delivering such improvements to cost and schedule.
  • Lead the application of Systems Engineering to elicit, influence, and manage engine-level business and technical requirements and allocate requirements to sub-system level.
  • Represent the engine program in technical meetings with customers, operators, and airworthiness authorities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with 2+ years of work experience OR Master's degree with 0+ years of work experience OR JD/PhD with 0+ years of work experience.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Experience in relevant domain is preferred but not essential.
  • Good communication, presentation skills and an ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Experience in business case development and project management.
