About The Position

ALK Abello' Source Materials, Inc., a leading manufacturer of quality allergenic biological source materials, and a member of the global ALK-Abello' group of companies, is recruiting for our open Validation / Metrology Supervisor position. This is a regular, full-time, benefits-eligible position. Join our stable and growing company and provide leadership and expertise to our workforce located in our 150,000 square foot facility in Post Falls, ID. The Validation / Metrology Supervisor is accountable for the strategic oversight and execution of validation and metrology operations, directing and developing Validation Specialists and Metrology Specialists to ensure reliable, compliant, and efficient lifecycle management of equipment, utilities, facilities, instrumentation, and computerized systems. This role provides technical leadership and subject matter expertise to maintain equipment accuracy, system integrity, and validated states in accordance with cGMP, FDA, EU GMP Annex 11 and Annex 15, and corporate quality standards. The Validation / Metrology Supervisor establishes and governs validation and metrology frameworks, develops and enforces policies and procedures, ensures regulatory inspection readiness, and drives continuous improvement initiatives while fostering a culture of accountability, quality, collaboration, and technical excellence.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent (bachelor’s in science, engineering, or a technical field preferred)
10+ years’ experience in metrology, instrumentation, validation, or a related cGMP-regulated field
1–2 years of leadership experience
Strong communication, teamwork, and facilitation skills are required
ability to comfortably and safely work around insect venoms, allergens, hazardous chemicals, solvents and other laboratory reagents.
