About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Supervisor to lead our testing laboratory. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of validation activities, managing a team of technicians, and maintaining the performance and availability of test equipment. The ideal candidate combines strong leadership skills with deep technical expertise in rotating mechanical systems and low voltage measurement systems.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with engineering and schedule usage of validation resources and test equipment to meet project timelines and priorities.
Maintain and calibrate lab equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
Optimize resource allocation across multiple concurrent test programs.
Ensure compliance with internal protocols and industry standards.
Design and build new test fixtures and/or machines to support validation testing.
Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of test technicians.
Conduct performance reviews, training plans, and daily task assignments.
Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Provide hands-on support for diagnosing and resolving equipment malfunctions and test anomalies.
Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret test results and refine procedures.
Develop and maintain test procedures, work instructions, and protocols.
Identify opportunities and implement strategies to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
Support audits and ensure documentation is inspection ready.
Promote safe working environment and comply with safety and health requirements.
Complete required safety trainings and inspections.
Report and correct any unsafe practices as appropriate.
