About The Position

Manage validation planning and execution including test plans, samples, fixtures, schedules, witness tests, sign-offs, sample reviews, reporting, and post-test teardowns Provide leadership focus on project timing, cost and quality objectives Develop, optimize, and manage test plans in accordance with customer, federal, and/or Adient specific requirements Recommend appropriate test sample sizes (n) in accordance to test requirements Serve as technical resource for customer, federal, and/or Adient test specifications and methods Review and approve physical test set-ups Review data and reporting of all tests (including final disposition of results) Manage a test schedule using validation database, and/or customer specific format Serve as key contact person between product development team and test labs Adhere to existing validation processes such as Issue Tracking and reporting, ED/DV/PV, DVP Structure, Spec Updating Process, etc. Quote entire test plans, establish test budgets, garner budget approval and track performance Lead Setup/Global template activities to determine specific test setup information and understanding of FEA predicted performance Support product development team on pre/post-test sample reviews as required Support product development team with assessment, recommendations, and/or analysis of results to resolve product non-conformances Support internal and/or external customer meetings and reviews as required Maintain and communicate program status with customers Ensure that good positive relations are maintained in all situations and environments with employees, suppliers, and customers Adient (NYSE: ADNT) is a global leader in automotive seating. Responsibilities

  • Manage validation planning and execution including test plans, samples, fixtures, schedules, witness tests, sign-offs, sample reviews, reporting, and post-test teardowns
  • Provide leadership focus on project timing, cost and quality objectives
  • Develop, optimize, and manage test plans in accordance with customer, federal, and/or Adient specific requirements
  • Recommend appropriate test sample sizes (n) in accordance to test requirements
  • Serve as technical resource for customer, federal, and/or Adient test specifications and methods
  • Review and approve physical test set-ups
  • Review data and reporting of all tests (including final disposition of results)
  • Manage a test schedule using validation database, and/or customer specific format
