In the role as Validation Engineer, you will play a pivotal part in our Validation team in US, spearheading validation and qualification projects. Your key responsibilities will include organizing and executing daily project activities, responding to customer inquiries, and crafting detailed qualification protocols and documentation. You will also conduct temperature mappings, either on-site or remotely as needed. Success in this position hinges on your ability to collaborate effectively with dedicated specialists and maintain strong communication with our customers. A comfortable fit for a fast-paced, startup atmosphere is essential, with travel requirements of up to 100 days per year primarily domestic, plus some international trips to Europe. This role is situated in our new modern Raleigh, NC facility and will report directly to the Global Validation Manager. Your duties will encompass:

  • Coordinate and oversee daily project activities concerning validation and qualification of temperature controlled units such as freezers and fridges as well as warehouses
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns, providing clear and thorough responses to ensure satisfaction
  • Execute validation projects for clients, from smaller firms to major pharmaceutical companies, ensuring adherence to regulatory compliance and quality assurance
  • Develop and draft qualification protocols and documentation in line with regulatory standards, particularly within the pharmaceutical sector
  • Install data loggers on-site as required to facilitate temperature mapping
  • Work closely with specialized teams and cross-functionally to ensure smooth project implementation and successful validation results
  • Maintain constructive communication with clients during the validation process, providing timely updates and progress reports as necessary
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree within engineering or other relevant education
  • Knowledge and interest within validation documentation and regulatory standards in GxP
  • Comfortable with technology & proficient in the Google Suite
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, primarily domestic with some international travel
  • Exceptional English communication and presentation abilities, both written and verbal
