About The Position

The Valet is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by assisting residents and guests with the parking and retrieval of their vehicles in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner. This role plays an important part in creating a positive first impression for the property by maintaining professionalism, attentiveness, and care in every interaction. The Valet also supports front-of-house operations by ensuring traffic flow, maintaining the cleanliness of the valet area, and assisting with related resident service needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Greet residents, guests, and visitors warmly upon arrival and departure.
  • Safely and efficiently park and retrieve vehicles, ensuring proper handling and security at all times.
  • Open doors, assist with packages or luggage, and provide directions or information as needed.
  • Maintain professionalism, discretion, and courtesy in all guest interactions.
  • Follow all traffic safety procedures and property guidelines for parking operations.
  • Inspect vehicles for existing damage prior to parking and report any incidents immediately.
  • Ensure vehicle keys are properly tagged, organized, and stored securely.
  • Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any unsafe conditions or suspicious activity to management.
  • Keep the valet stand and surrounding area clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
  • Assist with directing traffic flow and managing loading/unloading zones as needed.
  • Support other property or concierge staff during busy periods or special events.
  • Follow company uniform and grooming standards consistently.
