About The Position

Clayton Valet is looking to add more Prompt, Polite, Professional valet and traffic control attendants to our Events Team! Valet Attendants in our Events Division are responsible for safely transporting guests' vehicles and providing top tier service to our customers and clients at special events and parties. Parking attendants will manage the flow of traffic during events, and supervise the valet podium. Weekend and evening availability is preferred. Apply now!

Requirements

• Must have valid driver’s license (valet attendant positions)
• Must pass criminal background check - no felonies
• Must have a clean driving record
• Must pass the valet safety check
• Must be available to work All Hands on Deck (AHOD) events
• High school diploma or GED
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Maintain a clean uniform and professional appearance at all times
• Able to perform physical activities such as standing, running and bending
• Ability to stand up for up to eight hours
• Must be able to work in all elements (i.e. rain, snow, sunshine)
• Must have reliable transportation or complete understanding of the bus schedule
• Tattoos must be concealable

Responsibilities

• Skillfully and efficiently park and retrieve customer vehicles without safety incidents
• Safely control the flow of traffic during non-driving events
• Assist customers with any personal belongings, if requested (may require lifting up to 30lbs)
• Enhance customer relations by providing service with a friendly demeanor, willingness to help, and a smile
• Use and maintain valet equipment properly, including keeping equipment and work area clean and organized
• Observe traffic laws and practice safety precautions at all times
• Other duties as assigned
