Valet/Parking Attendant

Responsibilities

• Provide a personal vehicle parking and retrieval service for Hospital guests while offering exceptional guest service.
• Drive vehicle to a designated area in valet parking lot, securing and noting the space the vehicle is parked on valet tag and log; returning the tag and keys to valet key booth.
• Drive vehicle to and from parked area, securing the vehicle and noting specific information on the ticket.
• Follow proper safe driving procedures and safety protocol.
• Greet all guests upon arrival, open doors, explain valet procedures, and ask guests if they need directions.
• Perform access control responsibilities for the valet area.
• Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established Hospital policies, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school degree or GED preferred.
• Valid Illinois Driver's License required.
• Clean driving record required.
• Ability to drive vehicles with both standard and automatic transmissions.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Possess customer service skills.
• Possess organizational skills.
