About The Position

The Valet Parking Attendant at Colorado Springs Municipal Airport is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient parking of guest vehicles while providing exceptional customer service. This part-time role involves interacting with guests, managing vehicle retrieval and parking, and maintaining safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles (stick shift).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Acceptable driving record and motor vehicle report (MVR).
• Ability to learn quickly and make sound decisions in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to move from valet stand to customer cars by walking or running for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

• Previous valet experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mobilize and coordinate the valet process by retrieving keys and vehicles for guests.
• Foster customer success and retention by building rapport and addressing inquiries.
• Act as a courteous brand ambassador by interfacing with guests and assisting with their vehicles.
• Deploy vehicle safety and security procedures, including directing traffic and inspecting vehicles for damage.
• Pioneer financial operations by collecting fees and reconciling end-of-shift revenue.
• Meet and greet guests, assist with unloading vehicles, and issue tickets or enter customer information electronically.
• Quickly retrieve vehicles for waiting guests and assist with loading luggage or personal items.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to guest inquiries in a courteous manner.
• Direct traffic and arrange for towing services when necessary.
• Report any incidents or claims to the Operations Manager or Shift Lead.
