Make a Difference Valet/Greeters are responsible for ensuring assigned entrances to the hospital are safe and inviting for patients, visitors, and staff. Greets and identifies any special needs; opens car doors to assist guests in and out of vehicles as necessary. Parks vehicles in designated valet spaces.

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Work with others as a team
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Must possess a valid Indiana driver's license with a clean and safe driving record, which meets insurance criteria
• Requires lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 lbs

Nice To Haves

• Chauffeur's license preferred
• Patient/customer transport experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensuring assigned entrances to the hospital are safe and inviting for patients, visitors, and staff
• Greets and identifies any special needs
• Opens car doors to assist guests in and out of vehicles as necessary
• Parks vehicles in designated valet spaces
• Maintains excellent customer service with a sense of urgency
• Controls the flow of vehicle traffic at the hospital entrance
• Helps guests load and unload belongings
• Assess and document any vehicle damage prior to taking possession of a vehicle for valet service
• Operate vehicles in accordance to valet service standards in a safe and professional manner
