About The Position

Join Community Health Network, where community is at the heart of our organization. As a Valet/Greeter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our hospital entrances are safe and welcoming for patients, visitors, and staff. Your responsibilities will include greeting guests, assisting with their needs, and managing vehicle traffic at the hospital entrance. You will also be responsible for parking vehicles in designated valet spaces and ensuring a smooth experience for all guests.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Must possess a valid Indiana driver’s license with a clean and safe driving record, which meets insurance criteria.
• Chauffeur’s license preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Maintains excellent customer service with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to work with others as a team.
• Requires lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Patient/customer transport experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure assigned entrances to the hospital are safe and inviting for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Greet guests and identify any special needs.
• Open car doors to assist guests in and out of vehicles as necessary.
• Park vehicles in designated valet spaces.
• Control the flow of vehicle traffic at the hospital entrance.
• Help guests load and unload belongings.
• Assess and document any vehicle damage prior to taking possession of a vehicle for valet service.
• Operate vehicles in accordance to valet service standards in a safe and professional manner.
