About The Position

The Valet Cashier is responsible for processing valet parking transactions while delivering exceptional guest service in a luxury hospitality environment. This role supports valet operations across the hotel front drive, cashier booth, office, and event pay stations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and a positive guest experience always.

Requirements

Must have excellent communication skills.
Previous customer service experience required, in hospitality strongly preferred.
Must be able to work well under pressure, in a fast-paced environment.
Must have flexible availability, including overnights, weekends and holidays.
Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours, and work outdoors

Responsibilities

Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
Answer questions and resolve basic customer concerns promptly
Provide clear instructions to guests regarding valet procedures, pricing, and validations
Accurately process valet parking payments using cash, credit/debit cards, room charges, and hotel POS systems
Issue receipts, validate tickets, and ensure accurate transaction records
Balance cash drawers and reconcile payments at the beginning and end of shifts
Perform basic administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, reporting, and record-keeping
Assist with daily revenue reports and event reconciliation
Scan tickets into POS and cross reference with guest information
Communicate with supervisors regarding discrepancies or issues
Operate front drive podium, cashier booths and portable pay stations
Manage customer lines efficiently while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
Adapt to high-volume, fast-paced event environments
Coordinate with valet attendants and event staff to ensure smooth operations
Follow event-specific procedures, schedules, and protocols
Follow company policies, cash-handling procedures, and security guidelines
Maintain a clean and organized work area in all assigned locations
