The Canopy by Hilton, a stylish modern boutique hotel located in the lively heart of Downtown Grand Rapids, is on the lookout for a part-time Valet Attendant to join their team! In this position, you will warmly greet guests, responsibly park and retrieve vehicles, and maintain a smooth and organized parking experience. Requirements

Must possess valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Knowledge of Michigan driving laws and vehicle usage (manual and automatic transmissions)
High School diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

Valet experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Drive and park guest vehicles safely and in a timely manner
Provide guest assistance and information, such as giving directions, assisting with luggage, informing guests of hotel amenities, etc.
Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
Follow all hotel safety protocols to protect guests, staff, and vehicles
Keep parking areas clean and orderly to ensure that space usage is maximized
Monitor any valet parking department equipment and inform a manager or supervisor of any repairs needed.
Be knowledgeable of hotel emergency procedures and how to respond accordingly
Report any unusual occurrences or requests to the Valet Supervisor or Manager
