About The Position

As a Guest Experience Champion (GEC), this individual should possess a high level of guest service to all guests while visiting Hope Village Hotel. These team members will accommodate all guests by providing both valet and bellman services upon arrival and/or departure. In addition, once the check in is complete, the GEC will escort the guests to their room and provide them with a full room orientation to ensure they are well informed for their stay. Hope Village Hotel is a mission driven property, this role will contribute greatly to that mission by actively seeking out guests and providing world class hospitality.

Responsibilities

  • Upon arrival, greet all incoming guests with a welcoming attitude and inform the guest of the services offered.
  • Provide guests with a valet ticket and fill out accordingly collecting information such as make, model, and any visible damages to the car. (Make sure valet tag is visible).
  • Upon luggage assistance use a bell cart and safely assemble the guests’ belongings onto the cart.
  • Assist guest to reservations desk introducing them to the front desk agent, once provided with a room number, escort the guest to their room providing all knowledgeable information and hotel landmarks (restaurant, laundry room, ice machine, and outdoor patios).
  • Provide a room orientation to the guest; including room amenities, how to properly use room appliances, location of all kitchenette utensils, wall switches for lights, and bathroom amenities.
  • Offer guests further assistance before returning to the lobby area.
  • Carefully Park and secure the guests’ car and record location of parking spot.
  • Return guests car keys on a valet hook inside the podium. Must be able to multitask and work efficiently.
  • Must possess great communication skills.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the Parking lot.
  • Clean and sanitize bell carts and wheelchairs after the use of each guest.
  • Maintain front entry cleanliness in hotel check in waiting area and outdoor furniture.
  • Food tray recoveries on guest room floors to be brought down to the kitchen.
  • Luggage cart recovery
