About The Position
The Valet Attendant is a part-time position responsible for providing exceptional guest services at the resort. This role involves welcoming and assisting guests, managing their luggage, and ensuring a smooth valet parking experience. The ideal candidate will possess a friendly demeanor, excellent customer service skills, and a professional appearance. The Valet Attendant will greet guests upon arrival and departure, assist with luggage handling, and provide directions and information about the resort and local attractions. Familiarity with local roadways and the ability to operate various types of vehicles safely are essential. The position requires a proactive approach to guest needs, ensuring that all guests have a pleasant experience during their stay. In addition to greeting guests and managing luggage, the Valet Attendant will be responsible for transporting luggage to guest rooms or storage areas, orienting guests to room features, and providing assistance during check-out. The role also includes operating vehicles in compliance with resort traffic rules, performing vehicle inspections, and ensuring the security of guest automobiles. The Valet Attendant will act as an ambassador for the resort, delivering items requested by guests and maintaining cleanliness in the guest service area. The position requires the ability to handle guest complaints effectively and to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Physical demands of the job include lifting and maneuvering heavy items, working outdoors in various weather conditions, and maintaining a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays. The Valet Attendant must also adhere to the resort's dress and grooming standards, presenting a neat and professional image at all times. This role is crucial in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests and ensuring their needs are met throughout their stay.
