About The Position

Clayton Valet is looking to add more prompt, polite, and professional valet attendants to our Healthcare Valet Team. Valet attendants in our healthcare division are responsible for safely parking and retrieving patient and visitor vehicles, and assisting them into the building. The ideal candidate will have empathy toward all guests and display exceptional customer service skills to help make every hospital visit more pleasant. Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must pass a drug screening and criminal background check - no felonies
• Must have a clean driving record within the last 3 years
• Must pass driving and parking test
• Must be available for All Hands on Deck (AHOD) events
• Practice safe cash handling and make change, if necessary
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Must be proficient in English, both verbally and written
• High school diploma or GED
• Always maintain a professional appearance
• Able to perform physical activities such as running, bending, and lifting up to 30lbs
• Must be able to work in all elements (i.e., rain, snow, sunshine)
• Must have transportation or understanding of MetroBus/MetroLink schedule
• Tattoos must be concealable

Responsibilities

• Effectively and efficiently park and retrieve customer vehicles without incident
• Assist customers with any personal belongings, if requested
• Promote good customer relations by providing service with a friendly demeanor, willingness to help, and a smile
• Use and maintain valet equipment properly, including keeping equipment and work area clean and organized
• Stand for a long period of time
• Open doors for all guests
• Observe and practice safety precautions at all times
• Other duties as assigned

Benefits

• $13.75/hr - $15.75/hr + Tips (Depending on location and hours)
