About The Position

The Guest Service Associate at Towne Park is responsible for delivering exceptional hospitality services to guests, ensuring a friendly and efficient experience. This role involves parking and retrieving vehicles, assisting with luggage, and providing information and support to guests during their stay. The position emphasizes creating smiles and making a positive impact on guests' experiences.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a criminal background and drug screen.
  • One month of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
  • Ability to read and write standard English language and comprehend simple instructions.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical operations with American money.
  • Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable.
  • Experience in hospitality or customer service roles.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients.
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Use guest last names during interactions and practice proper phone etiquette.
  • Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously.
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed.
  • Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests.
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and other inquiries.
  • Provide guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms, and local attractions.
  • Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities as requested.
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival.
  • Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks prior to issuing keys.
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, and damage survey.
  • Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed.
