Parking Management Company (PMC) is seeking a Valet Parking Area Manager to ensure growth of their market, provide the highest level of service for our clients, leadership team, and guests. This position involves overseeing multiple accounts, managing a team of managers, and contributing to the growth and success of our operations. The Valet Parking Area Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the highest level of service for clients, leadership teams, and guests. This on-site position involves overseeing multiple accounts, leading a team of managers, business development to grow their market, managing financial documents, handling revenues, and implementing claim prevention strategies. Employee management, including hiring, training, and maintaining positive relationships with associates and clients, is a key responsibility.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1 year minimum previous supervisory and related customer service/hospitality experience preferred.
  • Management or leadership-related training/certifications/business is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass background and motor vehicle record checks.
  • Ability to run, retrieve vehicles, and lift luggage up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to lead a team.
  • Ability to drive a standard (stick-shift) vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Work 40+ hours on-site at specific accounts, overseeing multiple locations and leading a team of managers.
  • Maintain a work-friendly atmosphere at all locations.
  • Update and maintain forecasts, budgets, and other financial documents.
  • Weekly review of associate punches, claimed tips, minimum wage, and car counts.
  • Follow up with associates and correctly submit by an established deadline.
  • Management of claim preventions, claims reporting, and revenue collection at account(s).
  • Hire, train, develop, and discipline/terminate employees.
  • Ensure associates are compliant on all onboarding tasks and properly trained/certified.
  • Identify, coach, and train associates for internal promotions at all levels.
  • Maintain a strong level of communication with associates and clients.
  • Anticipate client needs and exceed their expectations in resolving customer issues.
  • Be prepared for on-call problem-solving 24/7.
  • Booking, scheduling, and billing private events (where applicable).
