About The Position

The Vacuum Excavation Jet Vac Operator is responsible for the operation, care, and maintenance of jetvac and hydro excavation trucks. This role is crucial for maintaining critical infrastructure through effective excavation and cleaning services. Requirements

• Must possess a Class A or B CDL with both Tanker and Air Brake endorsements.
• Previous heavy equipment and jetvac experience is preferred.
• Valid driver's license is required with a clean motor vehicle report.
• Able to pass work physical, drug test, and background check.
• Ability to lift/move up to 75 pounds and use pneumatic, battery-powered, or electric tools.
• Comfortable entering manholes and working in confined spaces.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in mechanical repairs to equipment.
• Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
• Comfortable working outside at job sites with moving vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Operate jetvac and hydro excavation trucks using high-pressure water and vacuum systems for cleaning and excavations.
• Hydro excavate to potholes, trenching, and locating utilities.
• Jet flush city sewers, storm sewers, and farm lines, along with vacuuming of car wash pits and farm pits.
• Maintain equipment and keep it clean inside and out.
• Follow all company policies and effectively read maps/prints.
• Document all services performed on the job.
• Conduct minor repairs to equipment as needed.
