Requirements

• Must pass a tape measure test and protractor test
• Ability to operate all machines and tools in the department
• Training is provided for up to 52 weeks (based upon skill level)
• Experience in operating fabrication equipment in a form shop environment preferred, but not required
• Ability to read blueprints is preferred
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to use gauges, templates, and other measuring devices to inspect production parts is preferred
• Ability to operate forklift and overhead crane is preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Successful completion of up to a 52-week Fabricator training program
• Operate shear, brake, laser, saw, roller, pipe threader, forklift, & overhead crane
• Responsible for maintaining equipment
• Responsible for performing and inspecting own work
• Maintain a clean, safe workplace
• Overtime commitment when needed
