About The Position

The Vacation/Shift Relief Operator (Shipping) position is primarily responsible for providing coverage in the shipping, caseroom, and warehouse areas during employee vacations. This role involves operating palletizing and depalletizing equipment, maintaining housekeeping, and assisting with training new associates as needed. The operator will work overnight shifts and is expected to be flexible with their hours.

Requirements

• Ability to read and write.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to pull 150-200 lbs across the pick lane.
• Forklift experience.
• Excellent math skills.
• Ability to work flexible days and hours.

Nice To Haves

• Milk shipping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain housekeeping in the shipping and warehouse areas.
• Perform tasks related to picklane, full pallets, partial pallets, and palletizing.
• Operate palletizing and depalletizing equipment in the caseroom.
• Provide coverage for all positions within shipping, caseroom, and warehouse during vacations.
• Assist with training of new associates at the discretion of leadership.
• Help cut overtime by providing coverage during training and meetings.
