About The Position
As a Property Care & Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for both preventative maintenance and responsive repairs across our luxury homes. This is not a typical apartment maintenance role, you’ll be caring for well-appointed properties that require attention to detail and pride of workmanship. You’ll work independently in the field while also collaborating with our team to resolve issues quickly and keep homes guest-ready at all times.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in property maintenance or a similar field preferred.
- Proficient in handling common maintenance tools and equipment.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the hospitality or vacation rental sector a plus.
- Relevant certifications in maintenance fields (plumbing, electrical, HVAC) are a plus.
- Capacity to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on various property systems including basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner, ensuring that properties are well-maintained and defect-free.
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties pre- and post-guest visits.
- Maintain and monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and tools.
- Collaborate with team members on larger projects and property upgrades.
- Document completed work and communicate updates to management effectively.
