About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is Now Hiring a Surveillance Security Officer! Ready to suit up as a Surveillance Security Guard? What matters most about a role like this is your sharp eye, capturing every detail as you scan a series of screens. Tell us about your strong observation skills with attention to detail. As a Security Officer - Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as a security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc. Candidate must have the ability to walk and stand for 8+ hours. Candidate must have the ability to work overnights, including weekends and holidays. Days on/ off will vary based on site needs. Not guaranteed full time hours. Candidate must be available to work from 9pm to 9am so they are flexible to work various overnight shifts. Competitive hourly wage of $22.40/ Hr (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!) Requirements

• High school education or equivalent (GED)
• Security, Military, and/or Law Enforcement experience of at least 2 years or more
• Active Virginia DCJS security license
• At least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements
• Experience utilizing Microsoft applications or Google applications, and Security Systems
• Experience with Incident/ DAR reports

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
