Bluewave Technologies is an early-stage, fast-growth medical device manufacturer with disruptive technology aimed at revolutionizing clinical hygiene by treating difficult-to-treat conditions, starting with patients’ orthotic and prosthetic devices. The company addresses the problem of odor and germ buildup on these devices for approximately 10 million users in the US. Their proprietary ozone infusion process eliminates odors and kills SARS-CoV-2 on hard surfaces and fabrics without water, detergents, or added chemicals, leaving no irritating residues and allowing immediate use. The process removes over 95% of odor in as little as 6 minutes. The Bluewave device vacuums air out, backfills with high concentrations of ozone to break apart odor molecules and attack bacteria and viruses, then filters out excess ozone. It treats various orthotics, prosthetics, and podiatric products. This expansion, field-based Sales Representative role will be responsible for launching and developing the Texas VA territory (VISN 17). The primary responsibility is to drive product adoption and prescription volume through strategic account development, relationship building, clinical education, and consistent follow-through. This is a build role, where success is defined by establishing early clinical champions, generating initial prescriptions, and converting those into repeat utilization within VA facilities. This position is an expansion of the commercial team to scale early traction within the VA system and build a repeatable go-to-market model starting in Texas. The role involves selling into VA Medical Centers, Amputation System of Care clinics, Prosthetics (O&P) departments, Podiatry clinics, and Wound care clinics, engaging with clinical PM&R physicians, podiatrists, prosthetists/orthotists, wound care specialists, and administrative stakeholders like VA prosthetics departments, department heads, and procurement.
