About The Position

NotaryCam is looking for experienced Remote Online Notaries in the State of Virginia.

NotaryCam Remote Online Notaries ensure the integrity and legality of the notarization process for real estate transactions conducted remotely.

Requirements

• Must be NNA Certified
• Minimum of six (6) months RON experience
• Minimum of one (1) year experience as a commissioned Notary
• Minimum of one (1) year experience working with loan or Real Estate documents
• Proof of completion of a Remote Online Notarization Basic Training Course
• E&O Insurance Policy (Minimum 100k coverage)
• Highly Recommended – High Speed Internet for best platform performance (check with internet provider)
• Minimum Required – 15 Mbps download speed / 15 Mbps upload speed
• Windows Machine Required; Intel i5 or i7 (i7 faster) (or equivalent) (Celeron not recommended)
• Memory (RAM): 8+ GB (12+ highly recommended)
• SSD Hard Drive: 512+ GB space

Responsibilities

• Document Verification: Verify the identity of signers using approved remote identification technologies, ensuring all parties are who they claim to be.
• Document Review: Thoroughly review real estate documents to be notarized, ensuring they are complete and meet legal requirements.
• Notarization: Apply electronic notarial acts such as electronic signatures and seals to documents after witnessing the signing process via secure online platforms.
• Compliance: Ensure all notarization procedures comply with state laws and regulations governing remote online notarization (RON).
• Technical Proficiency: Utilize and manage RON platforms and software efficiently, ensuring secure and seamless transactions.
• Client Interaction: Provide excellent customer service, guiding clients through the remote notarization process and addressing any questions or concerns.
• Security Measures: Implement and follow strict security protocols to protect sensitive information and prevent fraud.
• Ongoing Education: Stay updated with changes in notary laws, regulations, and technology advancements related to remote online notarization.
• Communication: Coordinate with real estate professionals, clients, and other stakeholders to facilitate the timely completion of notarized documents.
