About The Position

Are you a Business, Management, Marketing, Statistics, Geographic Information Science, Health, or Education major interested in applying for an internship? If you want to spend your life serving the public good, consider a satisfying career as a federal employee. Join students from a wide variety of backgrounds, exploring potential careers with the U.S. federal government. You'll get insight into working for the federal government, gain valuable professional experience, and build a network of fellow public servants. HN Consulting has partnered with the U.S. Department of Veteran's Affairs (VA) to build an inclusive workforce by attracting a pipeline of highly qualified and diverse candidates through the National Diversity Internship Program (NDIP) . Students that participate in this program are provided with roundtrip airfare to and from their internship site city, housing (if needed), a competitive stipend, and are able to participate in career development webinars.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled on a full- or part-time basis in a degree-seeking/certificate-seeking program at an accredited post-secondary institution in good standing at the time the application is submitted
  • Majoring in Business, Management, Marketing, Statistics, Geographic Information Science, Health, or Education
  • Resume (1-3 pages)
  • Transcript/Grade Record/Report
  • One Letter of Recommendation (from a department chair, professor, or academic advisor)
