The role involves installation, configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting of VMware vSphere, along with supporting Active Directory and Azure IAAS. Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with VMware administration and engineering.
• Direct management experience of VMware virtualization platforms.
• Experience with VMware vSphere 4.x and 5.x, including vCenter and related products.
• Experience supporting Azure IAAS.
• Working knowledge of troubleshooting ESXi 4.x/5.x issues.
• Comfortable with Powershell (PowerCLI) and/or Perl (vSphereCLI) scripting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain VMware vSphere infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the VMware environment.
• Manage support requests with VMware.
• Utilize command line tools for system management.
• Automate tasks using Powershell (PowerCLI) or Perl (vSphereCLI) scripting.
• Support Active Directory and Azure IAAS as needed.
