About The Position

USA Environmental is seeking a UXO Technician III for anomaly avoidance support at its upcoming project at Indian Head, MD. The mobilization date is April 12, 2026 for approx. 3-4 weeks. This person would than transfer into the UXO Safety Officer position for construction support until approx. June 6, 2026. Qualified candidates must meet DDESB-TP18 requirements for a UXO Technician III to include: U.S. Citizen unless exception approved by the U.S. Government; Valid state driver’s license; Ability to handle in a safe manner the vehicle assigned to drive within and in the vicinity of the site; Graduate of a military EOD School of the United States, Canada, Great Britain, Germany, or Australia, or Graduate of a UXO-TI Course or the EOD assistant’s course; On-the-job training including, but not limited to familiarity with the process, procedures, and equipment (e.g., geophysical) used for conducting MEC-related activities; Never been removed from a MEC assignment for personnel reliability reasons or unsatisfactory performance of duties, substantiated by official documentation; Graduate of an OSHA-compliant (29 CFR 1910.120(e)(4)) 8-hour Management and Supervisor Training Course; Eight (8) or more years of documented experience in performing range clearance operations. Experience may be a combination of both active duty military EOD experience and contractor MEC experience, but at least one (1) year of MEC-related experience is required if the individual is a graduate of EOD school. (Note: Credit for EOD experience in National Guard or Reserve Units will be based on the actual documented time spent on active duty, not on the total time of service).
