About The Position

The UX/UI Designer sits at the intersection of creativity and functionality, developing intuitive, effective, and delightful digital experiences for audiences in the healthcare space. They are passionate about human-centered design and constantly seek to evolve their practice based on the latest tools and trends. The person in this role will have an opportunity to make a tangible impact on day-to-day work for high-priority clients, while also helping shape the future of Calcium+Company’s UX practice, UI design standards, and internal processes. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in UX/UI strategy or design
  • Expert proficiency in Figma
  • Experience working in and/or creating design systems
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Comfortable leading client presentations for UX/UI deliverables
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a passion for innovative thinking

Nice To Haves

  • Work experience at an agency specializing in pharmaceutical marketing
  • Experience designing and running usability tests
  • Creating sitemaps & information architectures
  • Familiarity with WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards and practices

Responsibilities

  • Lead wireframes from input through to delivery for digital projects (e.g., website, email, digital tools, etc.), with supervision from Senior Integrated Strategist.
  • Conduct UX/UI audits of live site properties to identify data- and best-practice-driven opportunities for improvement.
  • Create workable Figma prototypes.
  • Provide creative team with direction and/or consultation on UI design, contributing mockups where relevant.
  • Be the “voice of UX” on all digital project review routes, validating that strategy has been pulled through and offering clear, concise written feedback if revisions are needed.
  • Design, conduct, and succinctly communicate the results of virtual usability testing.
  • Support creation and optimization of process for how we work in Figma, including (but not limited to): template development, file organization, and routing/review of deliverables.
  • Work closely with the data & analytics team to define and track towards KPIs, both measuring and optimizing performance.
  • Collaborate closely with Integrated Strategy, Creative, and Technology & Solutions teams.
