About The Position

The UX/UI Designer position at ARKA Group involves working closely with customers and software/AI teams to design user interfaces that enhance user experience. The role requires a strong understanding of user needs and system engineering best practices, with opportunities for mentorship from experienced researchers and developers. This position is available in either Aurora, CO or Valley Forge, PA, and is open to candidates of all experience levels, provided they meet the basic qualifications.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with a CI polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Minimum of five years of relevant experience as a UX Designer or in a related role.
• Proven track record supporting agile software engineering efforts across the entire lifecycle including design, development, configuration, integration, testing, and delivery.
• Ability to perform in-depth system engineering activities and translate them into actionable software development concepts.
• Effective cross-organizational communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
