About The Position

Welcome to Love's: The UX Researcher is responsible for delivering insights to the most challenging questions in Love’s product and service design. The ideal candidate will uncover what our customers need from our business products by conducting primary research, exploring customer behavior and motivation, and working with Product Owners, Designers, Developers and QA departments in optimizing and developing our product features.

Requirements

  • 4-year college degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Computer Science, HCI, Cognitive Science, Psychology, Information Science or any other related field
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in statistical analysis, qualitative analysis, quantitive analysis, product usability moderating, test method selection and Agile methodology
  • Measurable experience in the integration of customer research into a business’s product design practice.
  • Proficient with standard industry software and tools e.g. Participate, Dynata, Lookback, Quantilope, Medallia, Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, UserTesting, UXpressia, Google Analytics, Mixpanel etc.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct both qualitative and quantitative user research including ethnographic interviews, contextual inquiry, lab and remote usability studies, heuristic evaluations, A/B testing and trend research
  • Lead recruiting and scheduling for various testing initiatives
  • Establish and promote user research methodologies, best practices and standards as they apply to various product features and timelines
  • Collaborate with product owners and the UX team to organize, facilitate and lead in-person and remote user research sessions
  • Organize, present, and defend research findings in compelling and creative ways to peers and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with other researchers, designers, product managers and developers to resolve user issues
  • Prepare data collection materials (e.g., discussion guides), synthesize user research findings, create presentations, personas, task flows, and general documentation of research techniques and processes
