About The Position

We are currently looking for a Contract UX Researcher in the United States. In this role, you will lead research initiatives to inform and enhance digital product experiences for high-profile clients. You will work closely with designers, strategists, and cross-functional teams to gather insights that shape product strategy and design decisions. The role involves conducting both qualitative and quantitative research methods, synthesizing findings into actionable recommendations, and presenting insights to stakeholders. You will contribute to a collaborative, fast-paced environment, helping to ensure that user needs and behaviors are at the forefront of product development. This position is fully remote within US time zones and offers an opportunity to work on impactful, client-facing projects across multiple industries.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of UX research experience in digital product design.
  • Strong knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods, and the ability to choose the right approach for each project.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills to translate insights into compelling narratives.
  • Experience collaborating with designers, product managers, and developers in fast-paced environments.
  • Familiarity with UX design processes and product strategy.
  • Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Self-starter capable of managing research independently.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Must be based in or able to work within US time zones.

Responsibilities

  • Identify research needs for new and existing digital product projects.
  • Plan and coordinate UX research activities and deliverables with cross-functional teams.
  • Conduct user interviews, usability testing, persona development, customer journey mapping, and card sorting.
  • Design interview scripts, usability test plans, and recruitment screeners for research participants.
  • Execute user research remotely or in person, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Translate research findings into actionable insights and recommendations for design teams and stakeholders.
  • Present research outcomes in clear, engaging formats to support decision-making and align stakeholders.
