About The Position

This role provides the opportunity to shape product experiences by leveraging quantitative research to inform strategic decisions. The UX Researcher (Quantitative) will lead independent studies, analyze complex data, and translate findings into actionable insights for cross-functional teams, including design, product, and engineering. You will collaborate with stakeholders to support and initiate research initiatives, helping to create intuitive, user-focused products that meet real customer needs. This position is ideal for a self-driven researcher with strong statistical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for elevating user experience through data. You will also have opportunities to mentor colleagues, advocate for users, and influence product roadmaps in a remote, collaborative, and fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in UX research with a focus on quantitative methods, or equivalent academic experience.
  • BA/BS, MS, or PhD in social sciences, experimental psychology, human-computer interaction, human factors, or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Expertise in planning, executing, and analyzing quantitative research, including surveys, evaluative studies, and statistical methodologies.
  • Proficiency with remote research tools and techniques, along with the ability to identify appropriate methods based on project goals and resources.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Comfortable operating independently in a remote, fast-paced, and global environment while managing multiple projects.

Nice To Haves

  • familiarity with Figma, Miro, Notion, SharePoint, MS Teams, or experience in Agile product development environments.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and manage quantitative UX research projects independently, applying rigorous methods to uncover user behavior, preferences, and pain points.
  • Collaborate with design, product, and development teams to integrate research insights into product decision-making and feature development.
  • Facilitate and guide research initiatives across multiple products, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and user needs.
  • Analyze quantitative data and synthesize findings into actionable insights that inform product improvements and strategic decisions.
  • Present research results in clear, compelling formats to diverse audiences, fostering understanding and alignment across teams.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of research plans, scripts, reports, and summaries to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
  • Mentor junior UX professionals and colleagues in quantitative methods, research best practices, and effective communication of insights.
